Well, we had Landon's 4 month appointment today with the pediatrician. All went well. We brought up a few of the concerns/questions we had and here's the report:
Head:
The odd shape of his head is getting better and the sutures are still moving. They think we can still correct everything with sleep positioning, so we'll keep at it.
Dry skin patches:
He's been getting these patches on his face, arms and legs. It could be the start of eczema, but more than likely, it's probably just because it is so dry here. They want us the change the type of lotion we use on Landon and see if this helps.
Solids:
They would like us to hold off on giving him any solids until he is 6 months old even though he is showing some signs of being ready (he watches us eat and acts like he wants some). Apparently by holding out on solids longer, there is less risk of children developing food-related allergies. He's gaining weight and growing great off mommy's milk alone, so we'll keep with that for another month and a half.
Landon is now...
Length: 25 inches (50th percentile)
Weight: 15 lbs, 3 oz (65th percentile)
Head Circumference: 17 inches (75th percentile...lots of brains!)
Can you believe that Ron and I actually have a child that is above the "norm" in almost every category for size??? Who says we're little?! This kid is going to be a linebacker! He's meeting all his milestones and is right where he needs to be at 4 months.

How did his shots go?
A little rough. He doesn't feel good today and is running a fever :-(
Sounds like a healthy boy!! Hard to believe they are already 4 months old. I hope Landon starts to feel better from his shots! Liam is feeling rough, too! He also started teething today, so his gums are bleeding. Poor little guys. They have to go through so much!!
